About this place

Kronborg, in Helsingør, is the castle that inspired Elsinore in Shakespeare's «Hamlet». It stands on the Øresund strait at its narrowest point, with the Swedish coast just a few kilometres away.

It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. The tour leaves from Copenhagen with a local guide.
